Wolfie's Big Toy Swap ("we", "us") runs toy swap events for children and this website, wolfiesbigtoyswap.com. We are run by HAM Agency, which is the organisation responsible for your personal information (the "data controller"). This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and what your choices are. Questions? Email theteam@ham.agency.
Who this site is for
This website is for parents and carers. We don't knowingly collect personal details from children. To join the waitlist you must be 18 or over.
What we collect and why
- The waitlist. Your first name, email address and mobile number. We use them to tell you the date and place of the first swap, when tickets open, and news about future swaps, by email and text. Our lawful basis is your consent.
- Analytics, only if you say yes. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics records which pages are viewed, the type of device and your rough location. It does not record your name, email or phone number. Our lawful basis is your consent.
- Hosting logs. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address and browser, to keep the site secure and running. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
- Your cookie choice. We save whether you said yes or no on your own device, so we don't keep asking.
The toy scanner
The toy scanner works in your browser. We don't receive anything about the toys you pick.
Cookies
We only set analytics cookies if you click "Yes, fine". They are called _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, and they last up to two years. You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer of the home page.
Who we share it with
- HubSpot, which stores waitlist details and helps us email and text you.
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Google, for analytics, but only if you accept cookies. Our fonts are stored on our own site, so loading them doesn't send your details to Google.
We don't sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept by Google for a limited period.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to it. You can withdraw your consent at any time and we'll stop contacting you. Email theteam@ham.agency and we'll sort it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top.
